The fine print, in plain words.

TL;DR

Panorix is a Chrome screenshot extension. You can use the basic screenshot features for free. Panorix Pro is a yearly subscription priced at $19.90/year, with payments, subscriptions, invoices, and refunds handled by Lemon Squeezy.

We do not store your card information. Regular screenshot capture, stitching, editing, and export are processed locally in your browser by default, and Panorix does not upload your screenshots or page content for regular screenshot features.

You can cancel auto-renewal anytime from your Account page through Manage subscription. Cancelling auto-renewal does not automatically refund your current payment and does not immediately remove Pro access. Your Pro access normally remains active until the end of the paid period.

Full refund requests are generally accepted within 7 days of your initial purchase. After 7 days, refund requests are reviewed case by case. A full refund removes Pro access. A partial refund or extended Pro access usually keeps your Pro access active.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Panorix, including the Panorix website, Chrome extension, account system, and Pro subscription service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Panorix.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of Panorix after the updated Terms become available means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Service Description

Panorix is a Chrome extension for webpage screenshots, including visible screenshots, scrolling screenshots, panorama screenshots, HiDPI export, and AI Reading export.

Panorix includes free features and Pro features. Current Pro features are shown on the Pricing page and Account page, and currently include:

We continuously improve Panorix, but we do not guarantee that every page, browser environment, third-party website, or complex scrolling layout can be captured perfectly. Modern webpages may include virtual scrolling, lazy loading, iframes, fixed panels, permission restrictions, anti-automation mechanisms, or third-party changes that affect capture results.

3. Account and License

Free features can usually be used without signing in. Pro features require an account so that we can verify your Pro access.

Panorix currently uses Google OAuth for sign-in. After you sign in, we may store necessary account and license information, such as your email address, name or avatar, login status, subscription status, license status, and expiration date.

Panorix grants you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the extension for your own work, study, or personal use.

You may not:

  • resell, rent, transfer, sublicense, or share your Pro access;
  • bypass payment restrictions through automation, modification, cracking, or similar methods;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code except where allowed by applicable law;
  • abuse refunds, subscriptions, or license mechanisms.

4. Subscription, Payment, and Auto-renewal

Panorix Pro is currently priced at $19.90/year, billed annually. It renews automatically unless you cancel auto-renewal before the end of the current billing period.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payments, taxes, invoices, receipts, subscription management, and refunds. Panorix does not store your card number, CVV, or complete payment credentials.

You can click Manage subscription on the Panorix Account page to open Lemon Squeezy's customer portal, where you can:

Cancelling auto-renewal only stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund the current paid period. Unless a full refund is issued or your account is terminated, your Pro access normally remains active until the end of the current paid period.

Panorix does not currently support account balance, prepaid credits, or buying multiple years in advance. Keeping your subscription active is the standard way to avoid interruption. For team purchases, long-term licenses, or special requests, contact us at hi@panorix.app.

5. Refund Policy

If Panorix Pro does not work well for your needs, contact us at hi@panorix.app and include:

If a serious product issue affects your main use case, we may offer, depending on the situation:

A full refund removes Pro access. A partial refund or extended Pro access usually keeps your Pro access active.

We may refuse refunds, revoke Pro access, or terminate service for accounts that violate these Terms, abuse refunds, share accounts maliciously, attack the service, bypass payment restrictions, or otherwise abuse Panorix.

  • the website or page where the issue happened;
  • a short description of the issue;
  • screenshots or screen recordings, if available.
  • a fix;
  • a workaround;
  • extended Pro access;
  • a partial refund;
  • a full refund.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to use Panorix lawfully and responsibly.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to capture, save, edit, or share the webpage content involved. You may not use Panorix to infringe copyright, privacy rights, trade secrets, or other legal rights.

You are responsible for determining whether your use of captured content complies with applicable laws, third-party website terms, and your organization's compliance requirements.

7. Intellectual Property

The Panorix name, logo, software, interface design, documentation, and related materials are owned by Panorix or its licensors.

The screenshots you capture, edit, or export remain yours or the property of the original content owner. Panorix does not claim ownership of your screenshot content.

Unless we give written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or repackage the Panorix extension or related services.

8. Third-party Services

Panorix uses third-party services to operate the product, including:

These services may process your information according to their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of Panorix may also be subject to those third-party terms.

  • Chrome Web Store for extension distribution;
  • Google OAuth for account sign-in;
  • Lemon Squeezy for payments, subscriptions, invoices, taxes, and refunds;
  • Cloudflare for hosting the website, running APIs, and storing account and license-related data.

9. Service Disclaimer

Panorix is provided "as is" and "as available."

We do our best to improve capture, stitching, and export quality, but we do not guarantee that Panorix will work on every webpage, browser version, operating system, network environment, or third-party application.

Some pages may not capture perfectly due to technical restrictions, including virtual scrolling, lazy loading, cross-origin iframes, video or dynamic content, permission pages, anti-automation mechanisms, browser limitations, website changes, or network issues.

If a feature does not work for your main use case, contact us at hi@panorix.app. We will try to investigate and may offer a fix, workaround, extended Pro access, partial refund, or full refund according to our refund policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Panorix is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or loss arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim related to Panorix is limited to the amount you paid for Panorix Pro in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

You may uninstall Panorix or stop using the service at any time. If you have a Pro subscription, you can cancel auto-renewal through Manage subscription on the Account page.

If you violate these Terms, abuse the service, abuse refunds, attack our systems, share or resell Pro access, bypass payment restrictions, or otherwise harm Panorix or other users, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account, Pro access, or access to the service.

If your service is terminated due to violation of these Terms, you may not be eligible for a refund.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

If we make material changes, we will try to provide notice through the website, Account page, or other reasonable means. Your continued use of Panorix after changes become available means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Contact
